Ministry Roles
Our church thrives because of the dedicated members who serve. From supporting worship and fostering fellowship to welcoming newcomers and participating in eucharistic duties, each contribution is vital. We appreciate those who serve as an essential part of our church family!

Interested in playing a part in our weekly services? The roles available are below. Some of them have prepared guides too! Remember that you volunteer for these roles through your account on SignUp Genius! If you are unable to attend when you are scheduled to take a role, please be kind and helpful by arranging a swap with another person. If you are unsure of someone’s contact details, please ask in the Church Office.

Altar Guild

A ministry of "quiet service" that creates a beautiful and meaningful worship environment. Duties include setting the altar with elements for communion, arranging flowers, checking candles, and ensuring the altar is dressed in proper colors for the liturgical season.
Acolyte or Altar Server

Acolytes lead processions while carrying the cross and assist with communion.

Welcomers

Welcomers make a huge difference to the visitor or member experience. They welcome people to the church and hand out bulletins, provide the attendance count, collect offerings, and assist as needed throughout service.
Eucharistic Assistants

Eucharistic Assistants are specially trained to assist the Presiding Priest in distributing the Sacrament of bread and wine.
Lectors

Lectors read the lessons and/or psalm on Sundays and other special occasions.
Intercessors

Intercessors lead the Prayers of the People, drawing from the Book of Common Prayer or composing their own.
Audio & Visual Support

The A/V team of two operates the sound and video components as we livestream on Sundays.
Coffee & Cookies Host

Hosts provide and prepare the beverages and light bites served after the Sunday Service -- a very important part of our church life!
Music

The choir, guided by the Director of Music, leads congregational singing, providing an uplifting and unified connection during worship.
