The laity of Emmanuel Episcopal is essential to life and health of the church. By discerning "Who is God calling me to be?" and "What is God calling me to do?", we are guided by faith in service and growth as a Christian.
Our church activities and operations significantly rely on teams that regularly report to the Vestry. As a member of the Diocese of Southwest Virginia, we elect convention delegates and alternate delegates who keep informed about state and national issues and vote on Diocese policies and representatives.
