Serving Our Community

Emmanuel leads or assists in many community efforts to serve those in need. There are many opportunities to get involved.


Martha’s Meals on Wheels 
Age group: Adult
Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers meals to individuals at home who are unable to purchase or prepare their own meals.

Noon Day Lunch 
Age group: Everyone willing to serve and listen to our guests
We provide a meal once a month at Trinity Church for people who are hungry. Our group is responsible for the noon meal on the 4th Tuesday of each month.

Prison Ministry 
Age groups: Adults who have completed required training
The prison ministry travels to Augusta Correctional Center in Craigsville to conduct quarterly Vespers worship services for the inmates.

VA Haiti Collaborative 
Age groups: Any
The Virginia Haiti Collaborative is a group of churches, schools, and individuals partnering with St. Marc's Primary School in Cerca-La-Source to improve education in Haiti.

Donations 
There is a continuous collection in the back of the church of:
Nonperishable foods, Paper products, including feminine products, Egg Cartons
Any help is appreciated. These products are taken to local food pantries.
​
There is also continuous collection of nonperishable foods for a curbside food pantry by our steps that is open 24/7. The outdoor food pantry can be added to directly, or there is a box in the narthex to collect food for the outdoor pantry. Anyone is welcome to place food in the pantry anytime to feed those in our midst who are in need of food.
